ART IS NOT A TOASTER (therefore there is no guarantee)
Hi, I am Lisa, a professional traditional-illustrator and visual artist. I also work in puppetry and I am interested in textile design. Here you can see a few of my works and some of the things that inspire me. And now let the images do the talking.

Kimono (1)

Old Cartoons
Looking for images to send to a publisher I found these cartoons I drew years ago for the book of a friend of mine...Must have been something about spirituality...
And, here's a more recent one about chemistry...The Ionic Bond...It is so silly, but I love it

Presentation of "Corso d'Italiano per chi non sente" in Venice, 15th april 2014!
More than three years ago I started working on an ambitious project together with 6 other professionals: creating an Italian language course aimed to deaf people.
I have a deep experience with this subject so it was for me very interesting to merge my drawings with my other professional experiences.
The book was presented at Ca' Foscari University in Venice on 15th of April.
Here are again a few photos of
the day and pictures from the book. Enjoy! :-)

Buona Befana!!
Today I publish a work made by my sister, a professional illustrator and comic cartoonist. It's the story of la Befana, a nice old woman who, in the night between the 5th and the 6th of January brings gifts to the chikldren who behaved well. It's an Italian tradition, but you can find the same mith with different names around the world. I love Epiphany because is a nice and relaxed celebration, more genuine than others.
So, enjoy this lovely comic (click on the images to see them bigger) and have a look to my sister's blog: http://kanonenfrau.blogspot.it/
